Well here we go…
A new business, and another new blog. Pretty exciting stuff, I must say! Can’t wait to get started, Sooo…
First off, thank you for dropping in at The Down East Coconut Company and letting us share our information with you on the many benefits of coconut oil, coconut flour, coconut butter, and everything else about this amazing product. I/we will do our best to help you improve your health using our products, and advise you as best we can on ways to incorporate coconut products into your daily routine… whether it be in your cooking, or on the outside of your body… since it has so many uses.
I would like to personally thank Tan Nguyen (owner of The Crystal Coconut Company) for the opportunity to be the Atlantic Canadian distributor for his coconut products. We have become good friends in a very short time, and have a great working partnership in which we intend to help as many people as we can with our collective services. Really, that’s what we both are about… helping folks with pure, natural, organic products… with affordable prices, solid reliable no BS information, product support and advice, and recipes up to ying-yang… as high as that might be 
This will start with the very humble beginning of this first blog post, and develop through our own research and development using all the coconut products at our disposal in creating new recipes for all to share. We do not claim to know it all, but will make this promise to you… We will not use tricks or fancy speeches to try and convince you to buy our products. Our purpose, as you can read in our mission statement on our main website here, is to provide you with information on using coconut oil and other coconut products to improve your health, as we do each and every day… nothing more. We are certain that once you learn the importance of coconut and what it can do for your body, you can make your own decision.
As a Chef/Instructor, I am in daily contact with people that not only want to improve their health, but look to me for advice. They place their trust in me as a teacher, and I do my best not to let them down. I will make you that same commitment, and try my/our best to answer questions clearly and descriptively. I say “our” best, because I hope you (and other coco-nuts) will join in to create an interactive place to share knowledge, since that is the very best way to educate everyone… including myself. Learning is a life-long adventure, and one that I personally thrive on, and I hope to learn lots from the interaction with all my coconut friends around here.
So it’s off we go into a new and exciting future in the coconut business. Again, thanks for sharing your time with us, and we look forward talking with again soon…
